Erice

is a medieval village on the homonym mountain. It is an ideal place for an holiday dipped in the history and in the local traditions and it has kept untouched its lonely glamour. At the height of 800 metres above sea level, this village has a mild climate in summer and a mountain climate in winter. In spite of, it is 20 min. far from either the nearest seaside resort or Trapani town. Matrice Church and Venere's Castle are two of the most important monuments. We remind you that Erice is the seat of the Maiorana Foundation, that is bound by the name of the scientist Antonino Zichichi and that once a year put together scientists coming from all over the world.

Some of the most important local activities are the production of fine ceramics and the manufacturing of carpets. The centre of the village is full of little shops selling handicrafts and prestigious confectioner's shop and restaurants that propose typical local menu. Besides, from Erice you can make excursions to Egadi islands, to the natural reserve of Lo Zingaro, to the village of Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, Segesta and Mothia.

Our proposal is a typical apartment in the centre of the village near the la Matrice Church.

The house has 2 floors; at the ground floor there is a room with 2 sofas that convert into big beds, a living-room with kitchen and a bath-room with a washing machine. A typical spiral staircase takes you to the upper floor where there is another room with a big bed and a bath-room. Another little staircase takes to the suggestive terrace equipped as solarium and where you can enjoy a marvellous view. Because there are 2 entrance, it is possible divides the building in 2 apartments : one with 2 rooms and the other with 1 room, or having the hole building. In the end there are: TV, freezer and the possibility of parking near the house.
