BAGLIO TITA is a typical west side Sicily building of XIX century.

Because it was owner’s parents residence, it has maintained its familiar appearance, but, the recent restoring, allows the guests to enjoy a relaxing staying.

Its location, near the town, made it an ideal start for visiting cultural and naturalistic sites:

Erice, Segesta, Mothia, San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello, Zingaro’s Reserve, and port of embarkation for Egadi Islands, and Pantelleria.

The "BAGLIO" is a typical  building of the west Sicily, mostly in the extreme point that goes from Trapani to Mazara del Vallo. The architectural structure has the house and various other buildings used like stables, cowsheds, barns, winepress, oil press. Often, mostly in those bigger, there were practised more than one activity.

A lot of "bagli", thank to foresighted and enterprising owners, are allotted to commercial activities or like hotels. This has given the opportunity to restore and maintain the "bagli" if not for the original activities, at least for the protection and the respect of  local traditions.
